    New knowledge on the pathogenesis and improved diagnostic tools have advanced our understanding of DED. The TFOS DEWS III Workshop just published two reports to guide diagnosis and management of DED. Treatment of DED from smart artificial tears, new anti-inflammatory medications, device-assisted treatment and innovative blood products will be discussed in this combined session of DOG and the European Dry Eye Society (EuDES)
