Corneal opacities affect the performance of cataract surgery and may affect severely the outcome. Some cases have high risk of combined cornea transplantation cataract surgery due to local factors, previous rejection episodes or comorbidities. In this presentation we shall offer the criteria to follow in order to implement the vision of the patients with coexisting corneal opacities and cataract in a way that corneal surgery can be avoided or delayed in the benefit of the outcome of the cataract surgery and the final outcome of the patient.Referent / Speaker: Jorge L.
