With established interest in Germany from some of the country’s most influential surgeons and professors, Presbia would like to add an experienced sales specialist that can adopt a consultative approach to provide Presbia the ability to expand to national coverage


Manage, Develop, & Expand German Region


·    Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, and guide refractive surgeons

·    Inspire future surgeons to consider the Presbia Flexivue Microlens™

·    Initiate collaborations/partnerships that may provide commercial opportunities to advance adaptation of the Presbia Flexivue Microlens™

·    Collect feedback from a national base of surgeons and collaborate with the U.S HQ on enhancements which may provide additional growth opportunity

·    All travel and expenses related to the management of the national territory will be covered


Required Skills


Level of Education

University Degree or comparable qualifications


Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies

·    Ophthalmic medical device sales and/or clinical

·    In depth time spent in cornea refractive operating room/theater

·    Track record of successful ophthalmic device sales performance

·    Understanding of clinical sales and selling to medical professionals

·    Developing and achieving sales forecasts

·    Managing budgets and expenses

·    Excellent communication skills

·    Ability to lead and motivate surgeons and their employees

·    This position requires frequent travel across Germany



·    Fluency in German

·    Fluency in English is a MUST


Personal Qualities

·    Self-starter and proactive personality

·    Service and goal-oriented style

·    Diplomatic style to drive collaboration in a multi-stakeholder environment

·    Experience in multi-cultural professional environments
