COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of the course, both beginner and advanced surgeons should be able to independently perform the primary surgical management of severe injuries to the eye and its adnexa, as well as carry out reconstructive procedures for secondary complications under expert guidance.

COURSE STRUCTURE & SCHEDULE

The course is highly practical and clearly structured:

• Day 1 (Afternoon): Introduction to the wetlab with a focus on ocular trauma – establishing a consistent level of knowledge among all participants

• Day 2 (Full Day): Management of injuries to the eyelids, lacrimal system, and anterior segment

• Day 3 (Full Day): Surgical management of posterior segment injuries

• Day 4 (Morning): Consolidation and refinement of the surgical steps learned – focused hands-on training of individual techniques
