the newest and most advanced fully standardized instruments complete with Cine-loop, Sensitivity (gain) adjustments of frozen images, software allowing for various automated settings, e.g., measurements, quantitative echography I and II, angle kappa, and for automated diagnoses (e.g., A1 to diagnose retinal detachment using artificial intelligence) lap-top based, fully digitized, newest software Standardized A-scan frequency 8 MHz,  Standardized B-scan frequencies 10, 20, 25, and 50 MHZ (UBM)

POSTERIOR EYE SEGMENT

• RETINAL DETACHMENT: reliable diagnosis and safe differentiation from HEMORRHAGIC POSTERIOR VITREOUS DETACHMENTS and dense fibrovascular MEMBRANES, BREAKS
• ENDOPHTHALMITIS (early detection)
• VITREOUS CONDITIONS :  posterior hyphemas,  asteroid hyalosis 
• TUMORS IN ADULTS and CHILDREN: reliable diagnosis and differentiation

 ANTERIOR EYE SEGMENT

• Corneal conditions

STANDARDIZED ECHOGRAPHY versus CT / MRI

The basic course for standardised echography is an absolute prerequisite for participation in this course. The basic course consists of 14 video lectures and costs 50€.
