At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the role of advanced AI-based imaging systems in early detection of retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
- Identify the clinical applications of multimodal imaging techniques and their integration into therapeutic decision-making for retinal diseases.
- Explain the significance of imaging-guided treatment monitoring and the impact of predictive analytics on therapy outcomes.
- Discuss new imaging modalities, such as adaptive optics and high-resolution OCT, and their role in differential diagnosis of inherited retinal disorders.
- Review the integration of imaging technologies with emerging gene and cell therapies, including latest developments in clinical trials of these therapies.
