The ArtiLens course will provide surgeons with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience required for the implantation of the Artisan Aphakia IOL and Phakic Artisan and Artiflex IOLs. This course is given by experienced surgeons and run from OPHTEC head office in The Netherlands, as well as OPHTEC subsidiaries or Medical Centres worldwide.

Nico Trap started his career as an eye surgeon in 1989. He specialized in cataract and refractive surgery and was among the first surgeons implanting the (A)Phakic IOLS in The Netherlands.
