    Learning outcomes

    Attendees of the course will gain:

    • An up-to-date overview of diseases affecting the retina, including medical retina, surgical retina, inherited retinal disease, uveitis and oncology, including their pathophysiology, clinical features and management

    • An understanding of key diagnostic investigations and their interpretation

    • Insights on approaches to challenging cases

    • Knowledge of future developments including artificial intelligence, novel investigations, genomic diagnosis and new therapies (delivered by some of the people involved in bringing about these advances)

    Who is this course for?

    This course is appropriate for ophthalmologists (including consultants, trainees, fellows, staff and associate specialists) and will be at a level appropriate for general ophthalmologists as well as subspecialists. Allied health professionals with a specific interest in retinal disease might also find the course valuable.
