The British Association of Retinal Screening (BARS) conference will be held in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2022. The Association aims to support and educate professionals involved in retinal screening for people with diabetes. Under this motto an extensive scientific program will take place. This year, the BARS Council will hold slit lamp, OCT and wide-field imaging workshops, among others, which will be of particular benefit to screeners/graders.
