What's new at AVC 2021? NEW PLATFORM
We are excited to bring AVC 2021 delegates a new, custom built platform next year.
This platform seamlessly integrates your AVC experience, for both face to face and virtual delegates.
The live stream, polling, Q&A, on-demand recordings and all conference information will be integrated in one, simple, user-friendly platform.
PLENARY SESSION THEMES
The Plenary Session will now focus on 8 themes to assist you with your CPD portfolio. The themes that will be covered are as follows:
Contact Lenses
Ocular Oncology
Paediatrics
Macular Disease
Glaucoma
Retinal Disease
Neuro-Ophthalmology
Ocular Therapeutics
ON-DEMAND RECORDINGS
All sessions at AVC 2021 will be available on-demand for 4 months following the event. This simply means that the session recordings will be available online. You will receive the same CPD hours whenever you tune in.
Find the balance that works for you and view at your leisure with your personal login.
ONLINE DISCUSSION GROUPS
AVC 2021 will be offering 5 x 1-hour complimentary online discussion groups during the 4 month on-demand period.
These will run Wednesday nights at 7pm fortnightly, providing attendees the opportunity to dive into plenary session themes and maximise your interactive CPD hours.
The online discussion groups are open to all delegates and will be a great opportunity to discuss cases and any follow up questions.
BREAKFAST LECTURES
Breakfast Lectures will now be available to all delegates.
While face to face numbers are capped, virtual delegates can join the Breakfast Lecture virtually.
BYO breakfast and tune in at a location that suits you to receive the additional CPD hour each morning.
WORKSHOP STREAM EXPANDED
Workshops are now open to both face to face and online delegates!
In addition to this, workshops have now been extended to the full day 1 (Saturday 27 March 2021).
Maximise your CPD hours by attending or viewing the 15 x one-hour workshops on offer.
This brings the AVC clinical program to the equivalent of a 3 day program in CPD hours.
