    Course Overview

The FRCOphth Part 1 Revision Course has been running at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO) for the last 20 years by experts from Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. This four-day online intensive revision will consist of live lectures and content delivered by world-renowned academics with vast experience in providing pastoral and practical guidance to students.

    Course Structure

Pre-recorded lectures will be available from Monday 21 September 2020 and will cover many of the topics which are likely to come up in the exam. This course will also feature live Q&A sessions throughout the four-day period between 5:00pm and 7:00pm so that delegates will be able to discuss the lecture topics directly with the lecturers. Delegates are expected to access the various presentations, as well as attend virtual live Q&A sessions based on specific areas of the science to enhance learning and participation. Delegates who have registered for the Part 1 exam will have access to some past papers, and that will allow them to check which topics are likely to be covered.

We endeavour to keep track of students’ exam success levels and we adhere firmly to the topics listed on the RCOphth website as covered in the exam. This course allows students’ access to the ophthalmic researchers for more in-depth detail, as well as more recent developments in the topics, as well as the opportunity to ask those experts any questions arising from their lectures.
