Sa16-01 - What's new in pediatric rare eye diseases?

Rare eye diseases are considered if the prevalence is lower than 1/2000 in the general population and are usually recognized in pediatric ophthalmologic practices. Rare Eye Diseases display major heterogeneity and represent the leading cause of visual impairment/visual loss in children & young adults. Innovative diagnosis, imaging and therapies are crucial for a better management of affected children.
