This congress is about advanced education, research and the quality of clinical practice in the area of ophthalmology known as oculoplastic surgery. (This field comprises specialist plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the eyelids, orbit, lacrimal drainage system, and the upper and mid-face). The meeting will be held from 4th – 6th August 2021 at Keble College, Oxford.

    Welcome reception: Oxford University Natural History Museum

    Wednesday 4th August 2021 at 5.30pm

    The Welcome Reception will be held at the stunning neo-gothic Natural History Museum across the road from Keble. 

    Gala Dinner: Bodleian Library (Black tie)

    Thursday 5th August 2021 at 7.30pm

    The Gala dinner will be held within the Bodleian Library. Food will be served in the medieval Divinity School, the University’s oldest teaching and examination room dating from the 1400’s. Drinks will be served from the adjoining Convocation House, which hosted sittings of Parliament during the reign of Charles II. There will be dancing later in the evening. There is limited ticket availability and tickets will be allocated on a first paid basis only.

    Cotswold Bike Ride

    Tuesday 3rd August (timings TBC)

    This year we will be hosting a cycling event in the Cotswolds, beginning and finishing at Keble College. The 75km ride will snake its way through Oxford immersing riders in the city’s iconic architecture before taking them out into Oxfordshire and beyond.

    Punting on the Thames

    Tuesday 3rd August at 5.30pm

    In the evening you will be able to experience the quintessential Oxford experience of punting on the river Cherwell at the Cherwell Boat House with the option of food thereafter.
