• Summarize current concepts about molecular mechanisms, laser and surgical treatments of diabetic retinopathy, and new concepts on the horizon
• Acquire updates on current clinical trials of new pharmacotherapies of diabetic retinopathy and analyze the challenges ahead
• Identify new targets and formulate research strategies to develop new therapies and clinical trials
