ePoster submission guidelines: Your poster should follow the following structure: - Title / authors and affiliations - Introduction - Aims or hypothesis - Methods - Results - Conclusions Topics can encompass: - principles or practice of primary or secondary care ophthalmology - topics relevant to the understanding of disorders or mechanisms of eye disease - tele-ophthalmology and virtual consultations - electronic health records, information technology - ethics - global ophthalmology - medical education - ophthalmic history - vision rehabilitation - mental health and wellbeing Word count: Please keep the word count to 550 maximum with 5 references. Keep the information as clear as possible and use bullet points, diagrams, figures and photos. Format: pdf, jpeg, jpg, png All text must be original and not have been previously published. One author must be a consultant and have reviewed the poster prior to submission. Any and all conflicts of interest must be declared. All images should be original. Please ensure you have signed permission from the patient if they could be recognised from the photo. File size: max 10Mb Video submission guidelines: Share your ‘My first time…’ – reflections on an operation, clinical diagnosis or event that subsequently impacted your clinical practice. Format: MP4, MOV, MPEG4, WMV, AVI, MPEGPS, FLV, pptx, pptm, WebM 90 seconds max. Can include a clip, short self-record or 3 slide PowerPoint voice-over. Videos filmed on mobile phones are fine. (Try to keep the camera steady and use a tripod or solid surface if possible to improve the quality). All images should be original. Video prize competition
Share your ‘my first time’ experience via a short video. The winning video will be screened as part of the event.
- Prize: £250 support towards trainee attendance at an appropriate congress in 2021 – donated by Thea Pharmaceuticals.
OCT imaging competition
Enter your best ophthalmology related image.
- Prize: Three high-quality OCT textbooks worth £258 (see below for more info) – donated by Heidelberg Engineering.
